About the Tournament

Join us for the 4th Annual Mid-Winter Break Hat Tournament hosted by KCUDA! This is a fun, inclusive day of ultimate frisbee where teams are formed by picking names from a hat. It's a great opportunity to meet high school and college players from NYC and nearby communities while enjoying the spirit of the game during the winter break.

In a hat tournament, we randomly assign players to teams to ensure fair, balanced games. This format emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and making new friends across the ultimate community.

All proceeds support youth frisbee programs at KCUDA. Come catch up with your ultimate family!

Format & Schedule

  • • Hat Tournament: Teams randomly assigned by drawing names from a hat
  • • Game Format: 7v7 Mixed Gender
  • • Schedule: 10:00-10:30 AM Check-in, 10:30-10:45 AM Team Formation, 11:00 AM-4:00 PM Ultimate

Eligibility & Requirements

  • • Who Can Play: High school and college ultimate players
  • • USA Ultimate Membership: Required (affiliate membership is ok)
  • • Cost: $10 per player payable at check-in (cash, Venmo, or PayPal - cash preferred)
